Ukraine is a well-known producer of metal and metal structures.
Most of these products are shipped by rail to ports or end users. However, this route has its drawbacks, mainly a shortage of wagons, the very low average speed of trains and the need to change wheel bogies at the border. In addition, constantly rising rail tariffs are pushing small and medium-sized businesses out of these supply chains. It is for these clients that we offer road transport of small and medium-sized batches. Such shipments cost slightly more than rail, but they have a number of undeniable advantages. First, the truck can be loaded exactly as the customer needs, without being tied to wagon standards, so a single vehicle can carry an almost unlimited range of products. A truck is mobile and can meet all the client’s needs, both in delivery speed (within reason) and in the place of loading/unloading. A forwarding agent can accompany the cargo and handle tasks important to the customer from the loading stage onward. Taken together, these advantages usually save the client far more money than the extra cost of transport.
