Globalisation and concentration are clear trends in the world economy.
More and more successful companies carry out primary processing right in the raw-material regions so that they can later ship a smaller volume with a higher share of added value. The transport of all kinds of sawn timber is a vivid example of this. We are ready to carry boards, beams, chipboard, fibreboard, OSB panels and other products of various degrees of processing from producer to consumer and from warehouse to site, with high quality and without losses. In some cases we also transport roundwood, if it is technically feasible. These shipments are far from as simple as they may seem, since every single unit of such cargo counts and damaging it is not an option. We understand that if a site is short of even one panel, it cannot be handed over to the client. That is why all our drivers complete international carrier courses at AsMAP of Ukraine (the Association of International Road Carriers), where they gain the knowledge they need about the specifics of carrying different cargo and the correct use of securing equipment. Our road trains always carry “spare” certified straps and tensioners from leading global manufacturers. A shipment begins with proper loading and securing of the cargo, and the final result largely depends on it.
