European hoses for abrasive blasting — abrasion-resistant and designed for long service with abrasive under pressure.
A sandblasting hose works in the harshest conditions: abrasive under pressure constantly wears the inner lining. The key properties of such a hose are therefore the wear resistance of the lining, antistatic properties and safety factor. Quality hoses are made to EN ISO 3861, and abrasion resistance is measured according to DIN ISO 4649.
The lining is highly wear-resistant electrically conductive rubber that dissipates static charge. The hoses are suitable for blasting with quartz sand, copper slag, corundum, glass beads and steel shot and work over a wide temperature range. For especially heavy duty, a version with reinforced plies is available.
